Hoi Hup Realty secures go-ahead for High Holborn redevelopment
Singapore-based real estate developer Hoi Hup Realty has already gotten the consent from the City of London Firm for ‘High Holborn’, a main office-led redevelopment project, according to a June 18 release.
The revitalised location is going to even feature flexible floorplates, wellness areas and patios. The development is targeting BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and EPC ‘A’ ratings, following the implementation of smart systems and low-carbon components across the site.
The job works on the regeneration of a 1.4-acre island site making up three buildings at 322 High Holborn, Holborn Gate and 44 Southampton Buildings.
The redevelopment, manage by construction and property consultancy Gleeds, Make Architects, renting advisors Savills and planning professionals Newmark, is projected to deliver over 370,000 sq ft of new Grade A workspace. Created for modern occupiers, the structure is also set to include a brand-new cultural venue, the ‘Holborn Dome’, as well as a public pocket park at Southampton Buildings and boosted ground-floor features and permeability.
