Samty sells two investment pools of Japan multifamily assets worth JPY49 bil

Japanese developer Samty Holdings has announced the sale of two assets pools of multifamily investments developed and owned by the firm. In a Sept 2 launch, Samty states the assets were offered to international sovereign wealth finance. Samty will stay as the lead resource supervisor of both investment pools.

According to Yasuhiro Ogawa, president and CEO of Samty Holdings, the sale of the two investment pools reflects investors’ acknowledgment of possibilities occurring from the firm’s improvement into an investment system.

In July, Samty announced the wrapping up of its very first hotel-focused exclusive property fund, with capital totalling JPY17 billion.

The first investment pool consists of eight assets that will be managed entirely by Samty, while the remaining 22 investments are going to be co-managed by Samty and Japan realty investment management company Alyssa Partners.
